Next month, the California desert will see the descent of thousands of music enthusiasts, fashionistas and celebrities. As they get ready to celebrate music, art, life and love at the annual Coachella festival; Long Tall Sally launches their SS17 CURATD. x LTS capsule collection.
The sun was shining as we made our way to a London location; filled to the brim with feel-good festival vibes. As many of you will know, I lean heavily towards the all-black wardrobe but my style definitely allows for hints of bohemian elegance and eccentricity.
I am free-spirited to the core and having lived in Southern California for a few years, this event was calling my name so it was without hesitation that I broke my usual ‘no breakfast meetings’ *rules (*they’re there to be broken, right?!) and wafted into town for a sunshine smoothie and a healthy dose of fairy lights! I’d reached out to #TeamTall earlier in the week looking for a plus one and the lovely Regan was happy to oblige. I met her in the early stages of my Tall Guides journey and I’m pleased to hear that she’s now working towards launching a fashion & lifestyle blog for older women.
As with any decadent sunshine breakfast, a celeb make-up artist was on hand to gift our pasty faces with a gorgeous California glow. We chatted as we browsed and tried on the collection, casting bohemian silhouettes in the magical glow of fairy lights.
The morning was wrapped up with a generous goody bag of LUSH beauty products and as with anything LA-inspired, we left looking healthier and brighter than when we’d arrived.
You can view the entire CURATD. x LTS collection over on the Long Tall Sally website but my personal Sallee-friendly style selection is a draw between these three. Regardless of your So-Cal cool factor, I feel that these pieces are the most wearable. Whatever your age, all three could easily be incorporated into any tall girl wardrobe across the globe.I had a fantastically fashionable morning and would like to extend a long, tall thank you to the LTS team for inviting me along.
… Now all we need is some of those gorgeous LA-inspired temperatures!
