The undeniable colour trend for the season ahead and maybe even the whole of 2017 is pink, with every hue from bubblegum to fuchsia being embraced in head-to-toe looks.
For the first time, two shades were chosen as the 2016 PANTONE Colour of the Year. Rose Quartz and Serenity. The PANTONE Fashion Colour Report, featuring the top 10 shades seen on the runway, is your essential colour guide to the season.
Not too far from PANTONE’s 2016 Rose Quartz is one of spring’s hottest colours; enter Pale Dogwood. Continuing the tranquil mood, Pale Dogwood is a quiet and peaceful pink shade that engenders an aura of innocence and purity. The unobtrusive Pale Dogwood is a subtle pink whose soft touch infuses a healthy glow.
We’ve searched the world of tall fashion and have compiled a selection of pieces which could see you adding this season’s hottest colour to your wardrobe without busting the budget!

Let Long Tall Sally Do The Hard Work For You
Long Tall Sally have got us covered for workwear and footwear this season. I’m personally loving that this colour works so well with darker colours.
ASOS Tall Will Be Your Plus One
ASOS Tall are also on our side. With a vast selection of occasion wear on offer, we’ll be able to bring a fierce combination of elegance and femininity to anything from a special occasion to a romantic Valentine’s dinner. With so many designers thinking pink, it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll all be blushing at some point this spring! Any of you who know me (or who read my article last week!) will know that my wardrobe is black, black and yep, you guessed it… black. When I heard that 2017 was all about colour, colour and more colour; I became a little concerned about how I was going to restock and update my already challenging tall wardrobe! I actually love this colour and it goes brilliantly with black, so I’m in luck.
What do you think of it? Are you cupboards already bursting at the seams with bubblegum, candy floss, antique rose? Can you recommend any other tall pieces in this season’s hottest colour?
